Welcome to the University of Canterbury Badminton Club Website

The University of Cantebury Badminton Club (UCBC) is exactly as the name suggests. We are a badminton club affiliated with University of Canterbury and Badminton Canterbury to provide the general public with a fun and relaxed environment to play badminton. Although the majority of our members are students we do not limit membership to just students. Everyone is welcomed to play at UCBC no matter what age or skill level.

We provide shuttles (and rackets if required and if available).

7:30pm - 10:30pm every Weds and Sat
Cost - $3 per night
Annual Membership (Mar-Oct) - $50
Attendance at the beginning of the season has been very high. Saturdays are particularly busy. Because of the number of members presently attending on Saturday, we may have to limit the amount of social attendees on that night. We will only accept non-members on Saturday after 8pm if we are still under the 32 person limit. This is a temporary measure.
